Platanakia beach

Location

Platanakia beach is located approximately 58km south-west of Chania and 20km south of Kissamos.
This secluded beach is shaped at the exit of  Kambos gorge which starts from the homonymous village.

The beach of Sfinari is located just behind the north side of Platanakia beach.

How to reach Platanakia

Platanakia beach is accessible only by private or rented 4×4 cars and motorbikes or on foot from Kambos village by crossing the lush homonymous gorge (about 2 hours walk).
If you choose to drive from Kambos village, you have to cross a  rough dirt track which starts from the village.
