Kiani Akti (Cyan Beach), is located 18km east of Chania and 1km west of Kalives village.
It is among the finest sandy beaches in the area with deep crystal clear waters.

Notes
Kiani Akti beach is preferred by local families but due to its fine length it is a relatively quiet beach.
The exit of the river Kiliaris is located in the middle of the beach, fetching cold water from the top of the White Mountains.
How to get to Kiani Akti
Kiani Akti is accessible by local buses from the town of Chania.
If you choose to drive there, take the new National road (E75) which connects Chania and Rethymnon.
Take the exit towards Kalives to the left and after a while you will see signs leading to Kiani Akti.
