Notes

Kalami consists of two quiet beaches preferred mostly by locals.
A small one with deep waters and round pebbles and  a bigger beach, mostly pebbly with sand at some pleaces, close to a jetty which makes it ideal for dives.

How to get to Kalami

Kalami is accessible by private cars and motorbikes.
If you drive from Chania, follow the new National road (E75) towards Rethymno.

Take the exit to the villages of Kalives and Almirida and you get almost immediately into the village of Kalami, overlooking the beaches.
The road to the beaches is on your left where you see a steep narrow road that leads downwards to the sea.
