Domata is an ideal place for naturists and campers.
If you dig in the sand, you can find fresh water.

How to get to Domata

As the area features no road connection, access to the secluded Domata beach is possible through Klados gorge, on foot from Agia Roumeli or by boat.
The only sensible way to reach Domata is to get to Agia Roumeli and then hire a fishing boat to get you there.
Another way is by crossing the Klados gorge which is advised not to do it without a guide as it is among the most rugged and dangerous gorges in Crete.
The third option is on foot from Agia Roumeli on a very dangerous path, even for experienced hikers.
Again, it is imperative to have a guide with you.

Note:

Please, do not leave anything behind so that we will all continue to enjoy this impeccable beach.
