From Chania:

Falassarna is 59 km from Chania. If you choose to get there by car, take the National Road from Chania to Kissamos. After passing through the town of Kastelli, continue to Platanos and follow the signs to Falassarna.
When reaching the hill above Falassarna, you will see the stunning long beach of Falassarna . It is 3 km drive downhill, along a fairly narrow, winding road, so be careful especially during the busy high season!

From Chania to Falassarna by bus:

There are several daily buses.
Chania Central Bus Station – Platanos – Falassarna: Daily 08:30, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 15:30, 17:30
Falassarna – Platanos –  Chania Central Bus station: Daily 10:20, 11:50, 12:50, 13:50, 17:20, 19:45
