Votomos is a fish farm located in the beautiful surroundings of the mountain village of Zaros about 50km from Heraklion.
You will find it on your way to Zaros or Votomos lake, just past the village of Zaros.
The fish farm, the only one on the whole of island of Crete which provides fresh trout to its guests since 1978, serves the trout fish they maintiain inside their huge tanks and are open just at weekends in the winter months but every day the rest of the year.
