The small village of Vatos is located 19km west of Ierapetra near the village of Myrtos.
The homonymous long beach is quiet and perfect for both naturists and camping lovers.

Notes

Moving westwards you will find another pebbly beach in front of the settlement of Kalikovrehtis.
It is advised to also visit the charming village of Gdohia and the ruins of a Pre-Minoan settlement that was discovered between the village and the beach of Vatos.

How to reach Vatos

Vatos beach can be accessed with private or rented cars and motorbikes through the coastal road from Myrtos.
