Hiona Cottage is a unique little stone house, idyllically situated on the water’s edge, 19km from Sitia town and 2km away from Palekastro, in east Lasithi.

Hiona Cottage is a renovated old stone house right on Hiona beach, offering self-catering accommodation for up to 6 persons.

On the ground floor there is a living room with a dining table and a well-equipped kitchen.
Deeper inside there is a bedroom overlooking the stunning Kastri Hill.

A narrow spiral staircase leads to the upper floor, where is a bathroom with shower, a room with two normal size bunk beds and a bedroom with a double bed and direct sea views.

At Hiona Beach there is the archaeological site of the Minoan town Dikta and therefore building is prohibited.

Only the house and three fish taverns exist here, one of them being right next to the house.

For families with small children or a group of friends who seek privacy and peaceful moments by the beach, Hiona Cottage is the perfect hideaway!
