The well-hidden beach of Fournoti is located 57km south of Chania, about 12km east of Sougia and 1.5km west of Agia Roumeli.
With its wonderful deep blue waters, grey sand and fine pebbles, this secluded “paradise” is the perfect choice for staying remote!

The beach is completely unorganized and far from amenities, so take everything you need with you.

Notes

The seabed is rocky and ideal for snorkeling.
The beach is completely isolated and thus suitable for naturists and camping lovers.
The Micro-Reserve of Hypericum aciferum is located on Fournoti beach and includes the eastern part of the single population of the species.
You will see several yellow signs on its rocky cliffs that surround the beach, indicating spots were this plant is, therefore extra care is suggested whilst on the beach.
*There is a cave on the beach under which you can find shade.
The beach of Kalogeros is about 500m east of Fournoti.

How to reach Fournoti

Fournoti beach can be reached by a taxi boat from Agia Roumeli or on foot by the E4 path.
