Paleochora is located on a small peninsula, 75 km south of Chania, on a good road.
You can reach Paleochora either by renting a car from any big city in Crete, or even rent one from Paleochora in order to discover the area that holds a great number of surprises!
You can reach Paleochora by bus as there are several arriving here from any big city of Crete.

From Chania:

There are four buses that arrive daily from Chania .  The trip takes two hours and it is an absolutely must-see itinerary as it goes through a dozen of historical picturesque villages of the Selinon area.

From Heraklion:

You may well come to Paleochora by bus from Heraklion via Chania. It  makes a stop at Rethymnon and then arrives in Chania where you have to change buses to Paleochora so the trip takes approximately 5 hours.
