Notes
Whilst there, one should definitely walk to the small chapel of Timios Stavros where there once used to be a Venetian fortress.
The fortress probably had an important defensive role in the region.
Ruins of the fortress can be seen around the chapel.
Timios Stavros is a remote beach which doesn’t offer natural shade or any other facilities so make sure you have an umbrella and plenty of water with you.
How to get to Timios Stavros
Timios Stavros beach can be accessed only by boat or by following the E4 path which connects Glyka Nera beach (Sweet Waters) and Loutro.
