Location
The traditional fishing village of Mochlos is located 35km west of Sitia and 43km east of Agios Nikolaos.
Mochlos features several rocky beaches, ideal for snorkeling, but is mostly famous for the small homonymous islet, only 150 metres offshore which hosts a Minoan settlement.

Notes
The small sandy beach in front of the village features a rocky sea bottom.
It isn’t organised but next to all the amenities.
Heading east, there is a complex of small and isolated, rockier beaches called Loutres.
The following beach of Stomio is sandy and fully organised due to the nearby hotel.
West of Mochlos, there is the secluded Limenaria beach.
How to get to Mochlos
Mochlos is accessible only by rented cars and motorbikes.
If you drive from either Sitia or Agios Nikolaos, take the new National road (E75) and follow the signs.
The route is well signposted.
