Achlia or Galini beach as locals call it, is located 50km south east of Agios Nikolaos and 15km east of Ierapetra.
It is a scenic quiet cove with grey coarse sand and amazing light blue waters.

How to get to Achlia
Achlia beach is accessible by rented or private cars and motorbikes.
If you come from Agios Nikolaos and Sitia, follow the main road to Ierapera.
Little before entering Ieraptera you will see a left sign to Makrigialos and Ferma.
Follow that coastal road and after about 15km you will see a sign pointing to Galini beach.
