Agios Onoufrios beach is about 8km north of Chania town and close to the village of Kounoupidiana.
It is named after the small chapel which is dedicated to St. Onoufrios and celebrated on June 12.

The beach is hidden in a protected bay and is mostly preferred by the local residents.
How to get to Agios Onoufrios
Agios Onoufrios beach is accessible by private cars and motorbikes.
If you drive from Chania, follow the road towards the airport.
After about 4km, turn left towards the suburb of Kounoupidiana and go straight for another 4 kilometres until you see the small chapel of St. Onoufrios.
