Location
The long and vast beach of Ligres is located about 40km south of Rethymno town and 7km south of the village of Kerames.
This unspoilt beach is ideal for staying remote and is unlikely to get overcrowded even in the height of the touristic season.

Facilities
The beach isn’t organised but there are few rooms and fish taverns in the vicinity.
Notes
Ligres beach is suitable for camping lovers and is nudism friendly.
At its west end there is a waterfall gushing into the sea.
Moreover, if you walk eastwards until Triopetra beach, you will find some wonderful coves with amazing rock formations, perfect for fishing.
How to get to Ligres
Ligres beach is accessible by rented or private cars and motorbikes.
If you choose to drive from Rethymnon, follow the provincial road Melambon-Agias Galini, to the south.
Go past the villages of Armenoi, Ano Miksorouma and Mourne and at the village of Kerames you will see signs leading to the beach.
