Location
The wonderful and quiet Ferma beaches are located 12km east of Ierapetra and 43km south east of Agios Nikolaos, just off the homonymous seaside settlement, surrounded by lush vegetation.

Notes
The main beach is offered for naturism.
Moving to the west, within walking distance, you will find two other small beaches.
The first one is a small and sandy beach in a protected bay, lying in front of the Kakkos Bay Hotel.
If you keep walking you will automatically end up at the next beach which is a lot bigger and more organised.
Both beaches are accessed through a path with stairs, starting from the road.
*Ferma is among the less windy areas in Crete.
How to get to Ferma
If you choose to drive from Agios Nikolaos, take the road to Ierapetra, towards the south.
When you reach Ierapetra, take the provincial road which connects the latter with Sitia, to the east.
Ferma is accessible from Ierapetra with frequent public buses.
