Notes
Sfakaki beach hosts the Caretta caretta loggerhead sea turtle from May to September therefore some parts of the beach aren’t always accessible.
As Sfakaki is a northern beach, it is affected by the winds especially in August.
How to get to Sfakaki
There are local buses running from Rethymno to Sfakaki every 30 minutes.
