Spitia near Paleochora in south west Crete are two traditional houses, fully furnished and restored with materials recycled entirely from other old houses of the village.
The houses are ideal for hikers and lovers of nature and peace, without being far from Paleochora.

Set among olive trees and near a river which flows by the house, Spitia are authentic village homes with a vine and a garden from which you may pick vegetables and fruit to prepare a homely meal.

If you’re looking for a taste of the old Cretan life, then you have just found the perfect house and are assured an unforgettable experience!

Spitia consists of 2 homes which can accommodate up to 3 and 5 persons each.
