Mama Mia Beach Bar & Restaurant

Mama Mia Beach Bar & Restaurant is situated in Agia Marina, just 8km west of Chania town.

Mama Mia lies right at the beach, offering ample shade under the trees, sun beds, umbrellas and a playground for our young guests.

Start the day with a cold coffee and snacks, swim in the crystal clear waters and then come back to taste our specialties and freshly made cocktails!

    Dear Piet Tervoort,

    Thank you for your comment.
We verify its authenticity and origin from the Netherlands.
We, however, feel compelled to say that we are surprised since all times we have visited Mama Mia beach bar and restaurant as customers, the music wasn’t more intense than the one played at the other beach bars in the Agia Marina area.
We have notified the owner and wish to thank you again.

      Dear Piet Tervoort,

First of all I would like to thank you for visiting Chania and especially Agia Marina. I feel really sorry about your bad experience that has to do with our loud music. I remember you asking to turn down the music, I hope you noticed that we did. It was the first time in the 5 years I own Mama Mia that somebody complained about the volume of our music. Actually we are supposed to be the only beach bar in the area that plays lounge-ethnic music to accompany and not to annoy people’s relaxation. Maybe it was a bad moment, I hope that next time you visit Chania you will join us and I can assure you won’t have any complains like none of our customers do.

      Sincerely Yours, Ioannidou Stellina
